Lähestyvän kevään kunniaksi ripustin kattoon auringon. Tytär piti siitä niin että halusi omaan huoneeseensa samanlaisen. Tein hänelle kolme eriväristä jotka ripustin kattolamppuun.
Malli on hyvin yksinkertainen. Kokeneempi taittelija osannee jo kuvan perusteella päätellä taittelukuvion. Tarvitaan 2:1 paperi (tarkka suhde ei ole tärkeä). Tehdään 16 haitaritaitosta, joista reunimmaiset jätetään sojottamaan ulos lukitusta varten. Molemmat lyhyet päät taitetaan puoliksi yhteen, ja lukitaan viimeisen taitoksen avulla.

Daughter liked it so much she wanted to have one for her room. I made three suns of different colours for her, and hung them from the lamp.
The model is very simple. Someone experienced in origami may be able to figure out the folding pattern just looking at the picture. You need a 2:1 sheet (exact proportions are not important). Make 16 pleats, and leave the first and last one sticking out. They are needed for locking. Fold both ends in half and lock them with the help of the last pleat.
