Tämän kulhon malli on peräisin Tomoko Fusen kirjasta "Fabulous Origami Boxes". Kulho on koottu neljästä palasta, joista kukin on taiteltu yhdestä neliönmuotoisesta paperista. Malli ei ole erityisen vaikea, mutta taitokset on tehtävä tarkasti, jotta saumoista tulee tiiviit ja lopputulos näyttää hyvältä. Kuvan kulhoihin näytin paksuhkoa 20 cm x 20 cm paperia. Minulla sattui olemaan paketillinen värikkäitä eri tavoin kuvioituja arkkeja, joiden voimakas kuviointi mielestäni sopii tähän malliin erityisen hyvin. Kulhot voi pinota päällekkäin kun niitä ei tarvita, jolloin ne vievät vähän tilaa. Minulla on työpöydälläni pino näitä kulhoja. Säilytän niissä keskeneräisten moduliorigamien osia ja muuta pikkusälää. Yksi kulho toimii roskiksena.
The model of this "lamp-shaped bowl" is from Tomoko Fuse's book "Fabulous Origami Boxes". The bowl is assembled from four pieces, each folded from a sheet of square paper. The folding pattern is not very difficult, bult the folds must be done accurately, so that the joint become tight and the end result looks good. For the bowls in the photo I used rather sturdy 20 cm x 20 cm paper. I happened to have a pack of coloured paper with different strong patterns - I find this paper suits the model particularly well. When not used, the bowls can be piled on top of each other, so that they do not take much space. I have a pile of these bowls on my desk. I use them to store modular origami elements and other small objects. One bowl serves as a trash can.
